Prep: We begin by doing all necessary prep work prior to painting. This includes caulking of cracks using a 45-55 year caulk and spackling of small holes If pictures or wall hangings are to be installed in same location, nails or hangers can be left in place and painted over.
Paint: Typically painting begins the same day. We apply all paints according to manufacture specifications to insure all warranties are intact. Most warranties require the application of the paint at a proper thickness both when wet and after dried. We apply most interior paints in a two-coat process to thickness specifications and if necessary add more for coverage or hiding at our discretion.
We make sure to accurately apply paint to difficult areas. All trim, window trim, door jambs, baseboards are sprayed using an airless sprayer and fine finish tip.
Clean: We know that your house is important to you. That is, after all, why you are paying to have it painted. We make sure to maintain the cleanest workspace possible and leave the workspace cleaner than when we started. This includes picking up all trash, vacuuming, cleaning counters, etc.
Touch up Kit: A touch up kit that includes a pint of each paint or product used is left in a labeled box for your convenience. Each sample is labeled with the color name or number, type of product, sheen, and where it is located on the job.
Invoice: Upon completion, we mail an invoice along with a touch up request, customer suggestion form, and self addressed, stamped envelope for your convenience and satisfaction. We encourage all customers to return the filled suggestion form, whether positive or negative, to help improve customer service.
If a touch up request form is sent we will schedule touch ups within 3 days for your satisfaction.
